7Job Description Summary
Duties include but are not limited to: use of an ultra low volume sprayer mounted in a truck, use of backpack spray equipment to disperse mosquito control products, hand dispersal of mosquito control products, logging of daily and nightly operations, public interaction, responding to complaints and other duties as deemed necessary. Work is conducted both during daytime and evening hours. A temporary position is one created and intended to exist for less than one thousand four hundred fifty (1,450) hours in any calendar year. Temporary employees have no seniority, grievance, or appeal privileges. A temporary position may be either full or part-time.
Excellent communication skills, ability to keep records and logs of daily activities, ability to read a map, valid drivers license, clean driving record, work well in a self supervised atmosphere, ability to lift at least 50 pounds, ability to work in hot weather conditions.
